Young scholars build a solar oven and prepare cornbread in it.  For this solar oven cooking lesson, students follow instructions to create a solar oven.  Young scholars are given recipes for butter and cornbread to follow and cook in their solar oven.  Students eat their cornbread and journal about their experience.
