Learners explore the use of coupons to promote cost saving and help families remain within their monthly budget. In groups students create a shopping list using coupons provided by the teacher. They record the actual cost of the item as well as the cost ofter the coupon has been applied. This instructional activity is intended for learners acquiring English.
