Do not pass this resource by! Everything you need to teach the property of density,and the separation of mixtures is here: an educational video, several classroom handouts, and a laboratory exercise. The video is engaging, though a little blurry in the full-screen view. It would be best for your chemists to view it at home while completing the note-taking guide. Then, have them come to class to practice calculating density on the problem set worksheets and with the lab activity. Unfortunately, there are no hands-on experiences provided for separating mixtures.
