Middle schoolers create an etiquette book for women of Medieval times.  In this Catherine, Called Birdy lesson plan, students discuss the setting and work in small groups to list things expected of women in the 1200s.  Middle schoolers then compare the expectations modern women have to those of a women in Medieval times.
