Fourth graders define the role of a bully, then participate in skits with bullying situations. In this health and safety lesson, the teacher introduces the idea of bullying with the book Enemy Pie. Then students create a double bubble map to compare and contrast a bully with their victim as the look at self-esteem and other emotional issues. Finally, small groups of students act out skits of bullying situations and the group discusses how each situation was handled.
