After you've begun identifying the cause and effect relationship within literature, it's time to give scholars some independent practice. Review the concept before handing out this graphic organizer. Learners use the book they are currently reading to write an important cause and effect onto the chart. Although this specifies it should be the most important cause and effect, this may not be necessary or as interesting if everyone is reading the same book. Consider grouping kids into pair shares after they finish.
