Viewers use various body parts to illustrate how gestures convey meaning and how the meaning of these gestures may differ among racial and cultural groups, between men and women, or have meaning to specific a sport or activity. Although text heavy, this teaching tool is appropriate for most junior and high school pupils before a close reading of passages describing a character's actions or in preparation for a dramatic performance.
