The video is nice, but it would be much better if you could do this demonstration yourself. It demonstrates how pressure is distributed over a surface area. When one nail is pressed against a balloon, it easily pops. However, if a bed of nails is pressed against a balloon, it takes a lot more pushing to get it to pop!
