Beach Combing: Evidence of Life

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Learners comb the beach and gather remnants of unfamiliar life forms to make speculations about the origins of their discoveries. In this environments awareness instructional activity, students work in groups to search for evidence of life on the beach. Learners then investigate the possibility of tides being responsible for oceanic life being carried from one place to another.
