An interesting lesson analyzes the factors that affect the rates of photosynthesis and respiration. Classes spend one day viewing and exploring the stomata of different plant types and then write a hypothesis. To complete the lesson, they then conduct their experiments to test factors that affect the rates of photosynthesis and cellular respiration.
