At Camp Add 'Em Up it's time to or "2" find patterns in the environment. Young scholars will work in pairs as they build understanding of how to count by 2's. Students will use digital cameras to capture "2's" in their classroom (2 shoes, 2 hands, 2 feet, 2 eyes, etc.). Young scholars will create patterns of 2's using paper blocks and/or Unifix cubes. Students will demonstrate their understanding of 2's and their creativity by creating a Photo Story of found or created pairs. Young scholars will also use a 100's chart and look for visual patterns.
