Middle schoolers discuss the story The Pied Piper.  In this reading comprehension lesson, young scholars participate in a variety of activities designed to enhance and further their understanding of the story.  Middle schoolers interview an older family member, and present their findings to the class.  After completing the story, students design a news report based on the experiences of one of the characters.
