4-H Poultry Activity Page: Responsiblity

How many eggs does a chicken lay annually? A poultry project gets 4-H members experiencing the importance of responsibility and care of animals. They read about managing poultry and working with eggs, write a story about their flock, study egg sizes, and complete a scavenger hunt and a word search. Finally, young farmers complete a service activity and show their poultry at a show. This worksheet is crowded and may need extensive review time to ensure it has all been covered.
