Students study the growth of the Phoenix area using geographic images, maps, tables, and graphs. They study the idea of community.

Second graders write sentences in a graphic organizer about communities and what they include.  In this community instructional activity, 2nd graders will also draw a picture based on their description.  

Students sort medications by likeness and use. They compare and contrast using a Venn Diagram, and find the differences and commonalities of over the counter and Rx medications.
