students research blood's components, and use their math skills to recreate a model of whole blood using commonly found food items.

Students space themselves out on the floor with the equipment. When the teacher holds up a math flash card students write down the problem then they solve it. When they have the answer they jump rope that number of times.

Students analyze characteristics of geometric shapes. They find shapes in their environment, and communicate why it is like the shape of their choice and not like another shape.
