Students research arctic climates. In this Web-quest investigation, students will identify Arctic climate changes, explain the effects of these changes, relate the changes to other regions, and write their findings in a letter format.

Students examine and discuss the current issues surrounding the deforestation of Canada's boreal forest. They also explore the issue through the eyes of the forestry industry.

Ninth graders examine pollution problems and how it affects the community.  In this arctic cleanup instructional activity students study ocean currents and how they affect pollution.
