Students discover characteristics of Pop Art through slides and discussion of the 60's era and produce a pop art portrait of themselves using Clarisworks paint program and Hyperstudio.

Students collect and place photographs of their parents, grandparents, etc., in a family tree-like chart or positioned by generation. They find out more about the occupations and lives of their ancestors.

Students learn how to use Microsoft Word. In this biography lesson, students participate in mini-lessons on key features of Microsoft Word and then use it to write a multi-part biography report.
