Seventh graders define terminology and explore the effects media has on our society and on individuals.  In this media evaluation lesson plan students work cooperatively and solve problems. 

Students work in small groups to create posters illustrating the major facts and functions of plant organs. Within their groups, they assume the role of specialists creating specialized posters pertaining to the different parts of plants.

Students monitor their calorie intake and energy expenditure. They keep track of daily data in a journal and assess and adjust their diets as appropriate.
