Students celebrate Valentines day by creating an art project. In this holiday lesson, students discuss Valentine's Day and it's meaning, then create a Valentine colored painting using red tissue paper and paint.

Vinegar Hearts
Students create paper hearts. In this art lesson, students brush vinegar on white paper and cover the paper with red heart tissue paper. When the vinegar dries red heart prints are left because the tissue paper falls off.
