In this patterning learning exercise, students look at each of 3 patterns that are formed with plane shapes. They trace the shape to complete the first pattern and draw the correct shapes to complete the other 3.

The user is presented with a pattern consisting of creatures made from colored shapes. The length of the pattern can be either 3, 7 or 9 creatures. The user must then choose from a template of creatures to complete the pattern.
