Young scholars culminate a humanities project by improvising music to accompany a video of a particular era in US history.

Third graders distinguish between changes in pitch. They interpret and analyze different pitches being sounded at the same time. Students recognize and analyze a different style from a different ensemble. They listen to different melodies.

Students examine Japanese theatre and create their own face masks which display certain emotions, props, costumes and perform in improvisational theatrical games.
