Twelfth graders read a Shakespearean play focusing on a character. They create "Mind Maps" of their characters and act out a selection of the play.

Students work together to brainstorm dialogues intended to persuade another person to engage in a sexual activity. They supply creative and persuasive refusals to these requests.

Students discuss language, meanings and ideas in a range of texts related to the sea. They write instructions, explanations, arguments and factual accounts, express personal viewpoints on topics related to the sea.
