Young scholars discuss autumn. In this language arts lesson, students discuss words that are associated with the season of autumn. Young scholars read books about autumn.

Young scholars learn to recite poems and songs that they will recite and sing at their graduation for kindergarten. In this graduation instructional activity, students memorize and practice 5 poems and songs.

Students complete literacy service learning projects. In this literacy lesson, older students work with younger students to tutor them in reading and writing. They help prepare a Readers Theater for the younger students.
