Teach the five different types of media with the first of three in a media literacy unit. Learners create and propose a final newspaper project, which must address information covered throughout the unit. 

Young scholars examine a picture for details, write questions they need answered about the picture, create lead-ins and captions appropriate for a picture and write captions appropriate for other pictures.
