Students select an athlete from the Canadian Olympians website. They select pictures and list the qualities demonstrated by their chosen athlete which are required for the sport. They create posters showing their chosen athlete in action.

What's in a name? Pupils use the Scratch code blocks to animate letters in a name. They learn about events, sequencing, and loops in computer science by taking part in the project.

Students gather information about a country and work as a team. They use their knowledge to create a snowboard design that represents the country they pick. They explore locations, languages, flags, and emblems for various countries.

Students discuss and research an individual or event that has been memorialized on a commemorative coin. They use the information they found to write acrostics, creating stand-up accordion books to display the poems.
