Students explore folk tales originating from other countries. They examine the countries language, culture, and values while reading their folk tales.

Students participate in this project to connect the indigenous groups of the world. They create a calendar with their artwork with the hope new ideas can be exchanged between groups.

Students express the values they value the most by writing an essay. They can submit their essay online and respond to other student's essays as well. They are to intiate change if they deem something to be unfair.

Students produce elongated self-portraits on paper approximately 8 x 36 inches.
