Students form "companies" of 3-4 students and build bottle rockets for analysis and experiment. This lesson uses NASA's RcketModeler Version 1.2 rocket simulator to evaluate each rocket's flight.

High schoolers design and create water rockets using recycled materials. In this technology lesson, students measure and sketch their project design before drawing them using SolidWorks. They construct the bottle as accurately as possible.

Students design a rocket that stays on air for the longest period of time. In this physics lesson plan, students research the function of different rocket components. They test their design and make necessary modifications.

Students identify who Ellen Ochoa was and how she has accomplished many things in her life, such as, inventions. They demonstrate their knowledge of the invention process by creating their own invention while using problem solving skills.

Learners explore the list of products available to make and choose at least 2.  In this project lesson students pick and choose their own projects to create in a shop class.
