How to Use This Collection

Overview

We designed this collection to give you basic background information on SEL and the CASEL Core competencies. This is perfect for teachers, staff, and parents wanting to learn more about social-emotional competencies and ways to integrate them at school and home. 

Ideas for Use

• Use as an individual to learn more about SEL 
• Take each SEL competency and review it in a staff meeting or PLN. Watch the videos prior and come to meetings prepared to discuss ways to integrate into the curriculum
• Share videos with parents and use materials to put together a parent coffee or PTA meeting on SEL
