"The Salon for the Wits": Expanding Our Language!

Before your class begins Act III of Cyrano de Bergerac, have them study some of the new vocabulary they will encounter. Words like dexterousy, caprice, slake, and chagrined are included. For each, learners record the defintion, part of speech, synonyms or antonyms, and how they would act it out in a game of charades. An easy extension activity would be a game of charades!
