Students review the parts of a phone book and identify white pages, residential pages, yellow pages and government pages. They locate how to find information about pricing, making long distance calls, and contacting the phone company. Students review how information is listed and the rules of alphabetizing. In pairs, students practice finding residential, government and business listings.
