Words that use the classic consonant, vowel, consonant combination (or CVC words) are the focus of this language arts activity. Young pupils are shown many examples of these words, such as cub, bet, bit, and sat. As pairs read the book An Unusual Show together, they look for CVC words present in the story and type them into a blank document. A nice activity with appropriate technology for young learners.
