In this math and character lesson, students view images of pumpkins and describe them. Pupils define Jack-o-Lanterns and find the circumference of a pumpkin. Students discuss fairness and write a reflective paragraph about the topic. Pupils create a pumpkin craft to include in a class bulletin board.
