Pattern-Block Fill-In, Shape B

Your kids have never seen a shape like this! Using pattern blocks, learners are challenged to fill in an unusual template with as many (or as few) blocks as possible. There are multiple solutions, and as scholars come to their own, they tally the number of individual shapes in a chart. They must add the number of each shape used to get a total. Compare solutions, and change the goal from using more shapes to using less! This will keep learners engaged, and incorporates shape recognition.
