Musical Dribbling

This Musical Dribbling lesson plan also includes:

A fun way to practice basketball dribbling skills with young learners. This game is played like musical chairs. Spread out hula hoops, polyspots, or cones all around the gym. Then give each player a ball to practice dribbling. When the music plays, they practice their dribbling. When the music stops, they have to find a marker. Of course, there are fewer markers than there are dribblers, so some players will be eliminated. But make sure that those who have been eliminated are still practicing their dribbling skills. This game sounds like a lot of fun. Try it out!
