Hybrid-Electric Vehicles vs Gasoline-Powered Vehicles

Develop a strategy to make an informed decision. Given a scenario to help a local company decide to buy hybrid or gasoline-powered vehicles, pupils work together to provide a solution. The groups use data of historical gasoline prices to create a scatter plot and predict the cost of gas during the next five years. Teammates also use performance information about specific vehicles to make a decision among the given cars. Groups finish by writing a letter to the company outlining the recommendation.
