Make a study of the ghats in Varanasi through examination of an image and instruction about Hinduism. Learners work in groups to look at the photo and respond to discussion questions. They then read a brief text about Hinduism and talk about traditions. To close, they brainstorm sayings and compose stories about these sayings. Additional questions and assignments are included.
