Instructional Ideas

  • Let groups decide on the way to display their collected data and to justify their choice
  • If factoring in a recycling program, revisit the data collection process to see if it has made an impact

  • The activity is the first in a nine-part series on recycling

  • The resource contains a section that explains all the up-front preparation required for the lesson
  • The web links provide additional background information to see a more than a local impact
