Environmental Journey

Sometimes being a good writer means having a good imagination. Learners discuss coral reefs, work through a visualization exercise, and then create deep sea tableaus. They slowly add sounds and movements to their frozen pictures. When they are finished, they write a descriptive piece about what they saw, ate, heard, and felt while living under the ocean floor. Fantastic!
