There may be one right answer, but there isn't a right way to solve! Your learners are given a problem about the rate of rainfall and can pick their solution through graphing, making a table, or proportions. Based on the amount of water in the morning, they are to work backwards with the unit rate and decide what time the rain started. This problem is great to use with groups to compare the different methods.
