Diagonals to Quadrilaterals

Begin from the inside and work outward. Pupils construct quadrilaterals based upon the descriptions of the diagonals. Pairs then work through several configurations of diagonals and determine the types of quadrilaterals they can form. Using applets, learners develop a better understanding of the relationships between special quadrilaterals and their diagonals.
