Find the shortest distance at the amusement park and enjoy all your stops before you have to meet for dinner. When given a map of the park, your learners will have to plan their route to include all the stops and calculate the total distance using the Pythagorean Theorem. They will be able to use the grids on the map to create right triangles to figure out each distance and see if that route is the shortest in the class. Use the materials attached for the amusement park grid and key for the different locations.
