Self-Management is one of five core competencies presented by The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL). Self-Management includes the following attributes:

  • Organizational skills 


Encouraging Self-Management in elementary school sets a strong foundation for a productive educational career. Providing scholars with opportunities to learn and practice these skills will boost personal accountability and offer a sense of satisfaction for a job well done.
