The Algebra 1 curriculum set is designed to help scholars develop fluency in writing, interpreting, and solving linear equations, The 30 lessons in Module 1 are divided into four topics: An Introduction to Functions, the Structure of Expressions, Solving Equations and Inequalities, and Creating Equations to Solve Problems. Module 2 examines Shapes and Centers of Distributions, Describing Variability and Comparing Distributions, Categorical Data on Two Variables, and Numerical Data on Two Variables. Algebra 1, Module 3 focuses on linear and exponential functions. The module's 26 lessons are divided into four topics: Linear and Exponential Sequences, Functions and Their Graphs, Transformations of Functions, and Using Functions and Graphs to Solve Problems. In Module 4, pupils learn how to use polynomial functions, as well as quadratic functions, square root functions, cube root functions, and graph and interpret functions. The final module in the course centers on elements of modeling and completing the modeling cycle. Copy-ready assessments, exit tickets, and fluency exercises are included in each module.
