Prior to embracing the magic of music, Dusty was at a low point...\nIn the words of Poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, \"Music is the universal language of all mankind.\" For Tenor Saxophonist Dusty Rhodes, this is the anthem that he lives by.

Prior to embracing the magic of music, Dusty was at a low point in his life; he was living on the streets, depressed and struggling with addiction. What kept him anchored was his saxophone, \"It made other people happy... That was the thing that turned my life around.\"

With saxophone in hand and music in his heart, Dusty started to spread love, happiness, and smiles. \"I was using the universal language of music and connecting with people everywhere....playing on the street and giving to people provides me with a lot of love.\"

After living on the streets for so many years, he is now playing in different NYC neighborhoods and making enough money to live in a comfortable home and take care of his partner. If you were to ask him what his dream would be, he'd say that he is now living it.
