Even as a kid, this observation struck Netta Jenkins as a universal truth. As the newly elected president of her freshman class in Johnston High School in Rhode Island, she knew she had found a core emotional theme that any student could relate to. Netta then rallied students and teachers to discuss and address their feelings of exclusion, and together they were able to make meaningful changes in the day to day life at their school.

Netta looks back at that time as one of the springboards that launched her to the career she enjoys today. She is currently the Director and Head of Diversity and Inclusion for IAC Applications. “IAC Applications is one of the largest technology companies in the world. The company consists of developers, designers, marketers and tech gurus that create products that simplify and enrich people’s lives.\" says Forbes Magazine. \"Jenkins’ role is to create an inclusive work space for everyone at the company steering away from segregated groups such as women in tech or people of color groups.”

Netta has devoted her career to inclusivity in all aspects of the workplace, and this new OGTV series will capture the importance of the kind of work she does. She will be the “Dr. Phil” of D&I in corporate America. She doesn't just support people within her company--people from all over the country reach out to Netta for advice and guidance regularly via her blog. This series will showcase Netta’s ability to facilitate delicate situations in the workplace and ultimately provide people with solutions to create a happier, healthier work environment.

For Episode 1, viewers will learn all about who Netta is--where she grew up, what her life was like, and how she got to where she is now. Netta will talk to us about her childhood and adolescence growing up in Rhode Island and about the path she took that led her to IAC. We’ll hear from Netta’s mother, Nellie, about what Netta was like as a child, what it was like for her growing up as the only African-American family in a predominantly Caucasian neighborhood, what Netta did to combat some of the bigotry and other adversities she faced at school… and how she ultimately overcame them.
