After raising her children and approaching her 60’s Sylvia felt as if she was not living her life to her fullest potential. Looking for something new, she created CAV in 1989 with hopes of bringing people together and sharing the positive experience CAV had to offer. Now 23 years later CAV stands as one of the top five restaurant’s in all of Rhode Island. CAV has been featured on the food network as well as many magazines for its “magical atmosphere” and sophisticated contemporary menu with international influences.
