For Jenn and Phil, moving in together and curating their first space came with some compromises and challenges, especially renovating and updating the quirks of an apartment in a pre-war building. Luckily, with Phil being the landlord and with help from his Dad, those hurdles were easy to handle. Now, Jenn & Phil both enjoy the fruits of their labor, from the multiple accent walls they've painted to the modern touches added into a place with old bones. Uniquely, their kitchen and bathroom space is shared with other tenants on the same floor. It's all about curating their home according to his fantasies, Phil shares, from lying on the rug, listening to jazz and looking up at his plants, to making breakfast in their kitchen, with the sun coming into the window. This home has helped this couple come closer together, physically and emotionally.\n
