How do you have the glasses you need, not too many, and fit them all in your cabinets??? My answer has always been the simple design and three sizes of Spanish or Bodega glasses. It is common for bars in Italy and Spain to use these minimal glasses to serve wine instead of a standard wine glass, and while they have an old-world charm, they also tend to be very durable, wash easily and store most easily. Marketed now in the US, there are three basic sizes-small, medium, large-which you can imagine pretty much any use for and which will replace every other glass need. Juice? The small one. Wine? The medium one. Water? The large one. Flower vase? Also the large one. Milk? Anyone. This is a great design solution to what can become a stressful storage problem.
