We will begin this three part question by finding the area of the base of a square prism. We will review all measurements to be sure they are in the same unit of measure. We will understand that the area of a square can be found using the formula A=s^2 (s squared). We will understand that s squared is s times s. We will write the area in square units. For the next part we will find the volume of the square prism. We will understand the formula of volume of a prism is V=Bh. We will learn that B represents the area of the base. We will multiply the area of the base by the height. We will understand volume is a cubic measurement. For the last part, we will be given the volume and height. We will be asked to find possible measurements for the rectangle using the area, B. We will create a list of possible side lengths and use the given parameters to determine a possible solution. An exemplar solution is modeled and explained.\n
