This trick includes crafting activities, which makes it perfect for passing the time. Turn any of your children’s artwork into a fun, entertaining magic trick.

⭕ Materials:
- Coloured paper
- Glue
- White paper
- Scissors
- Black Pen
- Double-sided tape
- Tape
- Plastic paper pocket

⭕ Instructions:
(1) Cut your coloured paper into a nice picture and glue together onto a sheet of white paper
(2) Flip it over and put a piece of double-sided tape along the top.
(3) Slide the picture into the plastic pocket then carefully remove the second side of the tape and stick it to the pocket.
(4) When this is secure, flip it back over and trace the picture with a black pen.
(5) Then, slide a second white sheet of paper into the plastic pocket. (Make sure to leave a small section out)
(6) Next, cut a strip of tape and stick it to either side of the white paper to make a tab, and slide the remainder of the paper back into the pocket.
Now for the Magic:
(7) Show your audience the black-and-white drawing of your picture.
(8) Then, another piece of coloured paper, hold that in front of the plastic pocket.
✨ Here is a good time to shout some mystical words or wave your hands spookily. Then, as you pull the coloured card away, make sure you also pull onto the tab of tape. This will pull away the white paper, magically revealing a beautiful coloured picture.
